I'd purchased a Zinwell converter, and this set of rabbit ears (powered) made all the difference. I had to turn the gain all the way up, but only 12" of ears (that's all I pulled out) gets every Eugene over the air station.
It works well, I'd buy another.

I live in the New York City. I was not able to pick up certain channels before from my building with a different antenna, in particular could not pick up ABC. With this antenna I was able to pick up ABC and the quality of other channels improved. I used this antenna together with the Zindwell converter box. I realize this may be just one data point. But it worked great for me. The only thing is the antenna - could use a longer cord when connecting to the coverter box, but this is a minor issue.
