 Great for Internet Streaming to a TV June 20, 2010

Hi Guys,
I have an older Apple G4 Mac Book Pro (4 years old) with a DVI port instead of the new DVI Mini port. I bought this cable so I could stream Netflix and Internet to my Sony Bravia via HDMI. It works great! Obviously, the sound does not come through from the computer since I am using DVI from the Computer so I just use my JBL computer speakers and I am shocked at how well it has worked out. 5th and 6th season of Lost, here we come!

Works great! I have an older sony bravia with DVI-D connection. This cable now allows me to connect my PS3 with HDMI output. The only problem with this cable is: If you want the HDMI sound to come from your amp and you connect the PS3 HDMI-out to your amps HDMI-in, while connecting your amps HDMI out to TV DVI-D-in, you won't get the sound. You still have to use an optical cable from PS3 to amp. to get multi-channel. This is probably because the manufacturer terminated the audio portion of the HDMI within the cable and I can't fool my amp.
But it's okay with me. The video (upscale and regular) is awesome and the amp has DSP, so the Blue Ray movies sounds ok.

This cable does what it is supposed to do. I have it going from my PS3 to my TV. It's a great digital picture. It only transmits video, since DVI does not support audio. I ordered from Technology Galaxy, and shipping was fast, but the product came in a ziploc bag, not original packaging.

I bought a 32" Samsung LCD for my Mac Mini. "Pest-buy" only had one model of DVI-HDMI cable, and they wanted $49.99 for it! Needless to say this cable is way better quality and value.

Im running this cable from My Custom PC I wanted to use my pc as HTPC so I decided to get this cable for pic only, it does respond very well I played blu-ray movie and it looked so freaking awsome so far no complaints
