I researched this product for many months, visted all the major Electronic stores including technical specs and cost. This model was recommended as top model LCD by Consumer’s Reports and they hit it the nail on the head. I could not be more please with the performance and styling. I replace a 2002 high definition(1080i) projection which with HDTV signal was just fine. In fact I was opting for a replace DLP just because of the low cost. I was more than satisfied with project performance but in my opinion but WOW with this model details came out that had not seen on my old set.

Purchased Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV , HDMI cable and surge suppressor. Each shipped from different locations. All got here when scheduled. Delivery of TV was excellent. Delivery people unpacked and placed on table. Driver would not take a tip, but his young helper did. Cable installers arrived two hours later. They brought wrong box and had to come back next day. They returned,made connections, turned on TV and I couldn’t believe the picture. Perfect. Although the reputation of Amazon and their suppliers are rated the best, I was still apprehensive about making an online purchase. This because of my advanced age, the information I received at the big box stores and the cost. I was especially concered about the need of the TV needing calibration because all the stores I visted had a costly installation and “calibration” fee.

When needed, will do it again. Now if I ever get my other equipment connected right, I’ll be happy.
